Before the Saratoga season gets underway I always like to go back and review my library of horse racing books. Not to date myself, but the first book I ever read on horse racing was Andy Beyer's "My $50,000 Year At The Races". Andy Beyer, creator of the BEYER speed figures, spent a year traveling to various race tracks in a quest to make a living as a professional horse player. Andy has written far better books explaining the art of horse handicapping but I think I found this book to be more entertaining. Reading this book will get you mentally ready to take on the pros in Saratoga. If your interested in Andy's other books Click Here.
